The business and the brief
Introduction
Mayan Concrete is a family-owned concreting business working on driveways, house slabs, and granny flat foundations across NSW and Queensland. The website needed to make substantial construction services understandable and show relevant past work. We developed a service-led platform that connects project examples, regional information, and structured quote requests for homeowners and builders.
Concreting customers need to evaluate both the service and the suitability of the contractor for their project. A driveway and a structural slab raise different questions. The website therefore had to connect specific work types with relevant examples and a quotation process that begins with useful project context.
What needed to change
The challenge
- The digital presence did not clearly connect the business’s experience with specific concreting services.
- Prospective clients needed relevant project examples before discussing substantial construction work.
- Manual quoting needed better initial information about project type, dimensions, and location.
Our approach · 01
Explaining the work before the enquiry
We organised the website around the concrete services customers need to compare. An industrial visual direction and clear copy introduce the offer without obscuring the practical information homeowners and builders need.
Service structure gives visitors a way to identify the work they need before they make contact. Clear explanations also make the portfolio more useful: an example can be understood in relation to a particular service rather than presented as an isolated image of completed work.

Our approach · 02
Using projects to support evaluation
A gallery organised by service category lets visitors explore driveways, slabs, and other relevant work. This places visual evidence alongside the service information instead of relying solely on broad claims about quality.
Project photography supports evaluation when it is organised meaningfully. Categories help homeowners and builders focus on comparable work, while the surrounding service information provides context. This connects the visual portfolio with the practical choice the visitor is trying to make.

Our approach · 03
Connecting local discovery with project details
Regional SEO content and Google Business work support discovery in service areas. The quote form collects dimensions and service requirements, helping the team begin enquiries with a clearer understanding of the proposed job.
The enquiry form translates the service structure into a working conversation. Dimensions, project type, and location help frame the request, while local search content introduces the business in the relevant region. Together, those elements connect discovery with the details needed for a project discussion.
